"VIDOMI" project is an attempt to answer the question of what seeing is and what it is not. Do we realize the meaning of the sense of sight? By confronting the visually-impaired with the sighted, we are trying to develop alternative techniques of work, that will cross the physical limitations. We use the synergy of impulses – words, sounds, touch, movement – to create our own language for communication. We are learning to see with our whole bodies, and discover the world based on a different kind of seeing, which does not have to be limited by a physical impairment or the blindness of the mind, or by stereotypical judgments. This kind of work in theatre lets us go beyond the borders which the society puts in front of us in our everyday lives. Theatre becomes a medium, in which differences between us become a tool for creating the reality together. Visual impairment does not need to mean life in the dark. And how do you see it?

“Engi vengi vitelengi” is another musical proposal of the Great Choir of Young CHOREA. The group was established in 2011. Since then, it has accompanied musical performances of CHOREA Theatre, collecting and arranging songs from all over the world. This time, we are going to draw on the Balkan music repertoire. During the concert, we are going to perform, among other things, traditional Bulgarian songs from western Bulgaria and Rhodope Mountains. The concert will not lack Macedonian accents. We are going to hear some polyphony and dissonance, flirtatious as well as wistful songs, and, most of all, a great variety of ornaments and odd rhythms.
The Great Choir of Young Chorea is a musical and vocal band, which was founded in summer 2011 in CHOREA Theatre in Lodz. This is a group of music enthusiasts, which are different in age, experience, interests and backgrounds, but the have one great common passion for music and singing.

“Obsession" is a performance about discrimination. The Remus Theatre team collected authentic stories of people who have experienced racially motivated attacks. These brutal texts are presented in contrast to the beauty of the distant cultures represented by the cooperating artists: great Iranian flutist Mohammad Rasouli, Japanese butoh dancer Rui Ishihara and actress Hana Umeda performing traditional Japanese Nihon Buyo dance. Also, actors singing traditional polyphonic songs from places including Morocco, Uganda, Corsica, Italy, Brazil and the Balkans.
The title of the performance refers to the story of the Moroccan artist who, during his scholarship in Poland was brutally beaten up: "After the incident, (...), I constantly look around nervously thinking somebody could attack me. It is an obsession now.”

The project "Oj!czysty - prowokacje tuwimowskie" was based on series of workshops for youth. During the workshops we focused on working with texts written by fenomenall polish poet - Julian Tuwim. We are playing with letters, words and meanings. We are creating verbal excesses, we are playing philological tricks, and we are "catching the words in the act." We are writing poetry on the body and with the body, on the walls and pavements, we arel singing and shouting under the windows, and from the windows. We are inverting, misrepresenting and seeking for the real meaning.

We the White Kites are setting sail on our maiden voyage. Nowt to gloat on, but we're heading for uncharted seas in our vessel of psychedelic nature. Off to a world of epic stories, humorous n' absurd musical sketches and humble ballads. A world filled by the sounds of distorted guitars, deep belly rumbling organs, soothing flutes and mesmerising mellotron. Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls! Throw your cares away, slip on your headphones and lose yourself in the sound of The White Kites!
The White Kites are a Warsaw based group founded in 2012. Inspired mainly by the tradition of British Rock from the 60's and 70's (Pink Floyd, Robert Wyatt, The Zombies, Genesis) but within their original music one can find varying degrees of influence from folk, musical and baroque.
